It is Official. Not that anyone really thought otherwise but..

It is now official. Ian Davey, former chief of staff, and his partner, Jill Fairbrother, the director of communications, confirmed they will no longer be working for so called 'leader' of the Liberal Party, Michael Ignatieff.

With last weeks departure of Mark Sakamoto and Alexis Levine and now with Davey and Fairbrother gone, it looks like Denis Coderre* is the one with the real power in Liberal Party as the culling of the Rosedale gang continues at the OLO.

* When Ignatieff said "What Mr. Coderre does is his business." "He took actions earlier in the week that have consequences."

Did anyone think that those consequences would be felt by everyone BUT Denis Coderre?

The very same Denis Coderre who wants to be the leader of the Liberal Party of Canada!

I think the Liberals are missing an opportunity. To heck with that NDP retread, Bob Rae.
Denis Coderre actually has political instincts and insights and the "guts" to say and do what is necessary. Go Denis, Go! Cheers.

Why not. He is already running the show over there anyways.

Denis C.
Must have known the Liberals were not going to show any improvement in QC. Denis was responsible for the rebuilding of QC. DC's timing, exiting two months before the election was planned. He can lay the blame on the leader without wearing his failure to build a grassroots machine in QC loyal to the party.

The CPC learned that lesson with the ADQ.

The biggest mistake was not to remove DC immediately after his first blow up. Now the LPC are weaker after their recent losses and bleeding senior staff.

One thing for sure: the Military don't like Coderre and when Coderre decided to pay a visit to our troops in Afghanistan they showed their disgust by leaving him at Tim Horton in Afghanistan.
