David Suzuki: Compares Climate Change to Slavery!

He really has gone off the deep end:

SOLOMON: And by the way, they're saying because it is, by the way, because the oil sands creates jobs, creates money that is transferred to other provinces, and that's their notion of the balance.

SUZUKI: You know, that's what they used to say in the southern states. We can't give up slavery because it'll destroy our economy and slavery gives us jobs and we have to have slave runners and all of that. Some things you do because they're right. And you know, the problem is...

SOLOMON: But David, just for the record, and I know you're passionate, but is comparing this to slavery, is that fair, to demonize the other side like that?

SUZUKI: We're talking about the fate of all of humankind and the kind of future we're going to leave for our children. Yes, I think this is criminal what's going on now, to act as if the economy.

I wonder why the clown from Ethiopia was in the meeting in Paris with Sarkosy, Brown and THE ONE. Did he offer to give them the the largest kickback?

Suzuki is past the point of no return. He has staked his entire reputation on a flawed theory, and now he is becoming more desperate to manufactor consensus by throwing out absurd references.

Climate change and slavery? I have a funny feeling that Marx-A-Million might have a thought about that...

FACTS, David FACTS! Metaphors from YOU, are just more same ol, same ol propaganda and 'scarin' the kids' kind of stuff.

Go back to your mansion on the island and change a lightbulb or something and leave the normal folks alone.

The Medieval Warm Period (MWP) or Medieval Climate Optimum was a time of warm climate in the North Atlantic region, lasting from about AD 800–1300. It was followed by a cooler period in the North Atlantic termed the Little Ice Age. The MWP is often invoked in discussions of global warming.

Now you know, pass it on.

Suzuki is my hero. You will burn in Antarctica for this heresy.

The only slavery that will come out of this farce is that the western democracies will be enslaved by the bureaucrats at the U.N. and the likes of Suzuki and Gore.

Suzuki doesn't even buy gas on Saltspring.

So much cheaper it is to fill up in Chemainus or Sidney and it's only a short, subsidized ferry ride way.

"David Suzuki: Compares Climate Change to Slavery!"

Really? I guess he should know the comparison very well since he is doing it himself.
He already enslave people to his way of thinking that they becomes slaves.

Don't forget he also said that politicians who ignore climate change should be jailed

Here's hoping Suzuki staked his life's savings on it as well as what little reputation he has left, if any.
He's pretty mouthy for a guy that lobbied to ban DDT, Slavery David? Wanna talk murder?
Sleazeball!

He definitely spun a bearing.

This useless old fart has had a lifetime of sucking the government teat and made a very comfortable living doing so.

He's never had a productive job in his life. Nor has he ever had to deal with a customer, meet a boss'es deadline or have his ass on the line for a project's success.

In short he has never had to face the challenges that the "little people" he preaches to have.

A lifetime of such a shelterd, pampered existence can give you quite an ego and a lot of arrogance.

Hmmm, he has worked for the CBC for years, and is a visible minority.

Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present the next Governor General.

BTW, Suzuki and the rest like him have become slaves to the new world order-we have always been slaves.
The national MSM like CBC CTV, CLARK TABER etc.... are slaves to the liberal party of canada.

Suzuki's outbursts, logic and actions are becoming more bizarre by the day. There are a lot of similaritys between him and Theodore Kaczynski.

Looks like the TD funded study did not help.

How many AGW speculators bet the farm on those Carbon Contracts?

What will the next manufactured crisis?

He really sounds like an angry, bitter man. I could possibly, maybe, understand it if he actually had some academic or scientific credentials in the area of climatology, but he has absolutely none. I feel sorry for him.
